I’m a marathon runner.
Now in my 60’s, some would say an “old fart” but this “old fart” is actually pretty fit. I’ve been running since the age of 49 and haven’t stopped. Strangely, I hated running as a kid, but here I am in my twilight years pounding the pavement.
That’s me running in the 2013 Dunedin Marathon in New Zealand. My first sub 4 hour marathon in a time of 3:56:04 which still stands today as my PB.
As of July 2019, I’ve run 34 marathons across Australia, New Zealand, Greece and France and one 50km ultra in Canberra.
